The body of the Mercedes-AMG® GT four-door coupe is not actually based on the Mercedes-AMG® GT sports car, but rather on the E-Class and CLS-Class. Though the four-door coupe looks like a stretched AMG® GT, it is actually a rebodied E-Class.

By maintaining the name and styling of the beloved Mercedes-AMG® GT, the Mercedes-AMG® GT four-door coupe is able to embody the glamour and glory of that brand. By utilizing the body of the E-Class, the model enjoys a spacious platform outfitted with cutting-edge infotainment and telematic systems.
