Performance Specs and Features in the 2019 G-Class

There are still a few aspects of the 2019 G-Class that have yet to be released, but you can rest assured you’ll be treated to the same features you loved in past models but with a few upgrades. With a wider and longer base, there will be a little better stability and control in the 2019 G-Class which makes for better off-roading. Worried about trekking through the mud and water? Mercedes-Benz heard your concerns, which is why they’ve added another four inches of mud and water fording to it. While the 2019 G-Class will still get the same powerful 416 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, the transmission is upgraded from the previous seven-speed automatic to a new nine-speed automatic with a torque converter.
